Dopo aver tentato di uccidere la nuova ragazza di Gordon, Lee Thompkins, Barbara viene mandata all’Arkham Asylum dove viene fatta evadere da Theo Galavan. Successivamente rapisce Jim e Lee e li tiene in ostaggio nella Cattedrale di Gotham, finendo in coma per una caduta da una finestra.
