Perché è cambiato EUTIROX?

Una nuova formulazione di EUTIROX compresse sarà disponibile a partire da Maggio 2021. Le modifiche apportate sono: – La nuova formulazione migliora la stabilità della sostanza attiva, che è la levotiroxina, durante l’intera durata di conservazione del prodotto. – Il lattosio è stato eliminato dagli eccipienti.

Che differenza c’è tra levotiroxina e EUTIROX?

L’ormone tiroideo levotiroxina (commercializzata in Italia come Eutirox®, Tirosint®, Tiche®, …) è impiegato in forma di farmaco principalmente per il trattamento dell’ipotiroidismo, condizione caratterizzata da una produzione insufficiente di ormoni da parte della ghiandola tiroide.

Cosa cambia tra EUTIROX e Tirosint?

L’Eutirox compresse contiene lattosio come eccipiente. Negli intolleranti al lattosio che presentano flatulenza, gonfiore addominale etc è indicato l’ev passaggio al tirosint cpr (che contiene amido di mais e altri eccipienti ma non il lattosio) o al Tirosint flaconcini monodose.
